I have been lead counsel in over 500 criminal appeals during a career that includes 15 years as an appellate prosecutor with the California Attorney General’s Office and 21 years as an appellate defense counsel.  I have argued before the United States Supreme Court, the California Supreme Court and United States and California intermediate appellate courts.
